We are very grateful to the Ferreras Willetts family for their longstanding and generous support, which allows us to offer bursaries to delegates from the maintained sector.

In 2018 we were grateful to receive a donation in memory of Mandy Ray. Mandy was a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who taught Modern Languages at Burgoyne Middle School. For more than ten years she acted, on a pro bono basis, as the Treasurer of the Oliver Prior Society which was affiliated with Cambridge University. After Mandy sadly passed away, her family generously allocated a donation made in her honour to the SRTS to facilitate further participation by state schools.

In 2016 we were awarded HEFCE funding under the National Network for Collaborative Outreach scheme. This funded a joint project with the MML outreach and schools liaison team at the University of Cambridge. The NNCO grant provided funding towards bursaries for MFL teachers from the maintained sector to attend the Sir Robert Taylor Society Conference.
